Glenn Chisholm is an Operating Partner at SYN Ventures. Prior to joining SYN, Glenn co-founded Obsidian Security and served as its Chief Executive Officer where he helped define the SaaS security market. Prior to that, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Cylance, where he led the company’s product, engineering and research teams, creating the first autonomous machine learning solution for malware ahead of its $1.4b acquisition by Blackberry. Earlier in his career, Glenn was Chief Information Security Officer at Telstra. He has over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity across product development and executive leadership. He holds multiple patents in security and data science. He serves on the Boards of Directors for Delphos Labs, Icite, Miggo, Obsidian Security and SquareX. He previously seved on the Boards of Directors for Hexadite (acquired by Microsoft) and Vulcan Cyber (acquired by Tenable). Glenn received his MBA from Melbourne Business School and holds a degree in Computer Science from Curtin University.
